Emma graduated with honors from the University of Virginia with a degree in English. She received her law degree at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, graduating in the top 5% of her class.
Prior to joining the firm in September of 2010, Emma clerked for the Honorable Stanley F. Birch, Jr., on the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Before moving to Atlanta in 2007, Emma practiced environmental and natural resources law in Denver, Colorado.
