October 2017: Scott R. Grubman will be speaking at the HCCA’s 3rd Annual Healthcare Enforcement Compliance Institute in Washington DC.  The topic will be the role of compliance programs in FCA investigations and litigation.

September 2017: Scott R. Grubman will be speaking at the Federal Bar Association Annual Meeting & Convention in Atlanta, GA.  The topic will be Understanding and Applying the False Claims Act’s materiality standard post-Universal Health v. Escobar.

May 2017: Scott R. Grubman will be presenting at the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA) 2017 Annual Meeting, in Washington, DC.

April 2017: Scott R. Grubman will be moderating a panel at the Rural Healthcare Symposium at UGA Law School, April 21, 2017.

March 2017: Scott R. Grubman will be presenting at The Independent Physician Association of America (TIPAAA), 22nd Annual Meeting, in San Antonio, Texas.

February 2017:  Scott R. Grubman will be presenting at the the Risk Management & Patient Safety Seminar and Bootcamp for Morehouse Healthcare, sponsored by MagMutual Insurance Company.

February 2017:  Scott R. Grubman will be presenting at the AHLA’s Physicians and Hospital Law Institute, as well as the HIMSS 2017 Conference, both in Orlando, FL.

Jan – April 2017:  Scott R. Grubman will serve as an Adjunct Professor of Law at both Emory School of Law and Georgia State College of Law, where he will teach healthcare fraud and abuse.

January 2017:  Scott R. Grubman will be presenting at the HCCA Managed Care Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona.

June 2016:  Scott R. Grubman will be a presenter at the Annual Meeting for the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA).  He will be presenting on individual liability in healthcare fraud enforcement.

May 6, 2016:  Scott R. Grubman will be a presenter at the Annual Meeting for the Georgia Academy of Healthcare Attorneys (GAHA).  He will be presenting on the Medicare 60-day rule.

February 9, 2016:  Anthony L. Cochran will be a presenter at the Strafford webinar on “Rule 702 and Daubert Standards for Expert Witness Testimony.”

January 12, 2016:  Anthony L. Cochran will be a presenter at the Strafford webinar on “Leveraging Discovery Special Masters in Complex Business Cases.”

December 10, 2015Thomas D. Bever will be a panelist at the Health Care Fraud Institute seminar being held at the State Bar of Georgia Headquarters.  Tom’s panel will be discussing “The Boomerang Effect: How Compliance Efforts Can Be Used As Evidence Against Health Care Providers.”
